Old Girls Association Scholarship
This new scholarship for entry to Year 7 in September 2008 will be means tested and provide up to 100% of fees.
Applications are invited from exceptional young ladies for this 100% teaching scholarship. This major award is available to families living within the old ‘Adcote Estate' which includes Baschurch, Great Ness, Nesscliffe and Montford Bridge. If in doubt please contact the School.
The successful applicant(s) is likely to demonstrate an exceptional potential in one or more of the following:
Sciences, Arts, Performing Arts or Sports.
The scholarship will be decided through a combination of interview and written test and covers all the tuition fees up to the full published value. The scholarship does not include the following disbursements which will be charged to parents half termly. In certain circumstances more financial support might be available.
- Cost of lunch
- Uniform
- The cost of more additional activities, field trips, excursions.
Parents applying for the OGA Scholarship will be required to complete a means test. All information will be held in the strictest confidence. If, before applying you would like to look around Adcote, you will be made most welcome. Please contact the Head's Secretary – details are below.
This scholarship has been made available through the financial support of the Adcote Old Girls' Association. There are over 700 members of the OGA and many of them have made a significant financial contribution to this award.
