ADCOTE GIRLS' GYMNASTICS SUCCESS

Gymnasts from Adcote School added to their already impressive record of successful performances at the recently held Independent Schools Association (ISA) and Shropshire Schools Championships.

Adcote's Under 9s were worthy winners of both the ISA's team and group silver medals with Laura Brown taking the National Championship title.

Whilst at the Shropshire Schools Championships Harriet Shakeshaft added a silver to her medal collection as runner up in the Intermediate Voluntary Floor and Vault.

Originally founded in 1907, Adcote is one of the few schools in the region to include gymnastics for both Junior and Senior girls achieving a consistent record of success in area as well as local competitions where the girls compete in individual as well as team events.
