MOTHERING DAY PRAYERS

Tuesday was the last day of the spring term at Adcote School , and according to their tradition the Junior Department presented their mothering day prayers. Mothers were treated to four songs about spring and mothers, including 'Don't forget to tell your Mum you love her.' Katie Davidson also sang 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' beautifully as a solo and Florence Galliers played a piano solo.

The girls of Junior 1 all gave speeches about their mums, and Junior 3 presented their own pieces of work on what mums do for us. Imogene Moore caused much amusement with her references to chocolate and husbands!

The big set piece of the day was Junior 2 presenting the story behind the china Willow Pattern design. The girls enjoyed portraying the tragic love story and there was great acting all round, particularly from Laura Brown. Well done girls, and thank you to all the staff that helped organize and rehearse the event.
