2007 Results
Hardworking Adcote girls again celebrated an excellent set of results. At GCSE 60% of entries were C or above with overall 79% of the girls gaining 5 or more GCSEs at A*-C.
At both AS and A2 level the pass rate was 100%. This result placed us second in the county league tables, ahead of several selective schools.
Value Added
The value added score is calculated statistically to show whether pupils at the end of their GCSEs have performed better or worse than predicted by a base line test, usually taken by Independent Schools in year 8. Adcote's value added score shows that on average, each candidate increased their predicted performance by at least one whole GCSE grade.
