The Friends association raise funds to provide activities and equipment to enrich every pupils time at Adcote. Funds are raised by arranging various events that happen throughout the year which are also enjoyable social events. These have included the annual bonfire night, parents balls, family quiz nights and a summer fete. Funds are also raised by our well stocked Second Hand Uniform Shop. The Friends also work closely with the school and all the staff to help out at other school events such as Sports Day and Race for Life providing well earned refreshments.
Recently the funds raised by The Friends have enabled us to purchase new gym equipment including treadmills, rowing machines and cross trainers to provide the girls with a modern well equipped gym. Sheet music, lights and sound equipment for the music and drama departments so their performances can be even more professional. A table tennis table, playhouse and other playground equipment for the Prep School to keep the junior girls entertained in a fun filled space and a new outdoor classroom for all to enjoy.
Any support is welcomed and invited no matter how big or small. All parents, grandparents and guardians are very welcome to come along to our ’Friends of Adcote’ meetings. They are fun, social planning meetings where everyone’s contribution and ideas are valid and will help us to put on even better events and raise more funds.
We look forward to welcoming you!
However if you feel you cannot commit to regular meetings but would enjoy helping at any of our events please contact; email@example.com
