Students of Adcote School put on a public concert of exceptional quality at Shrewsbury Abbey last Wednesday lunchtime with a variety of solo and chamber group performances. They performed to a crowd of around 80 who enjoyed hearing the girls in the beautiful setting and acoustic of the Abbey.
Head of Languages and Chamber Choir member Graham Carter said: “The girls were a great credit to the school and demonstrated once again what exceptional talent we have here, at times drawing audible gasps from the audience with the power of their performances.
“The stand out moment for me was an audible gasp from the audience as Aishling Ojiako demonstrate the power of her voice going into her first chorus.”
