We are delighted to report that Adcote School’s U11 and U9 Gymnastics Squad have been selected to receive the Derek Hayward Award as the most successful Shropshire Primary School Team.
Romilly and Katie Hayton – our ‘flying sisters’ duo, who have represented the GB Vaulting Team – are also in line to receive individual awards.
The SSSAA recognises the significant achievement of young people participating in sport at the annual awards evening held at the Shirehall, Shrewsbury.
This is a very popular event and is recognition of the tremendous work and commitment of the young people but also the teachers, coaches and parents.
The John Beswick International Awards Evening will be held at The Shirehall, in Shrewsbury on Tuesday, 31st January, from 7.30pm.
