Posted: 22nd May 2017

The Friends of Adcote and Rotary Club have teamed together to plan an unmissable Summer Fete on July 2nd.

The ticketed event will be jam-packed with fun, traditional fete games and competitions, including Adcote’s Got Talent and Adcote’s Great British Bake Off. There will be a main arena with performances from the Adcote Choir, Gymnastic Squad and the Adcote’s Got Talent competitors. Hair braiding, nail and face painting will be available at traditional stalls, with activities such as Water Wars, Tug of War and Penalty Shoot Out…to name but a few!

Tickets will include a hog roast with all the trimmings. All funds raised go to The Friends and the Rotary Club. The Friends spend their funds on the girls to enrich their time at Adcote. Previous items have included: Animal Man, Kawai Piano, discos, fireworks, Weather Station, Trim Trail…to name a few! The Rotary Club is raising funds to support Angelic Stars.

Louise Hudson, Head of Student Wellbeing, said: “The Friends put in an awful lot of time to make these events a success and have bought and paid for a vast number of things for Adcote over the years. They do it all voluntarily and the money does come back into the school, so please do seize this enjoyable opportunity to support them.”
