Player of the Match – Seren Blackwell
The U10s also had some positive moments in their match, despite losing overall. Seren Blackwell (player of the match), showed great promise in goal. She made many awesome saves after a crash course of how to be a keeper. Good job she was alert to prevent Moreton from scoring any more goals. Amy Cook showed some excellent defensive skills, and cleared many of Moreton ‘s advances away from the goal. Maddie Wright held her position very well creating much space on the pitch, and Poppy Livermore showed her very high work rate.
