Ever wondered how fast a rocket car made from foam can go? Year 7 girls found out when they competed in the Race for the Line National STEM Competition in association with the Blood Hound Supersonic car.
They were helped by servicemen and women from the Army and RAF who popped to Adcote to oversee the competition. Three of our girls have now been put forward to compete in the regional finals on May 2nd at RAF Cosford. The girls will design, build and race their mini rockets against students from other West Midland schools with the chance of getting to national finals. Well done girls!Categories: Achievement
