We are thrilled with our A Level results this year, reflecting the outstanding dedication and hard work of both students and staff.
59% of A Level grades awarded to students this year were A*/A.
Once again our results show a significant increase (9%) on last year – demonstrating the upwards trajectory of our academic performance.
Our girls will be continuing their academic journey at university, with Shirley heading off to study Film Studies at Unviersity of Warwick and Alicja studying Computer Science at University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Ariel will be going on to study at University of Cardiff, and Pola achieved an amazing four A*s and was accepted to study Theoretical Physics at Imperial College London.
Mariia and Lydia (pictured), friends at Adcote for the last 5 years, are over the moon to be heading off to Liverpool John Moores together to study International Relations and Politics, and English Literature respectively.
“I am deeply grateful to Adcote for five incredible years of education and support. The nurturing environment allowed me to pursue my dreams, surrounded by warmth and kindness from every staff member and student. The memories I made at Adcote will forever hold a special place in my heart.”

Adcote School was the first to offer scholarships to exceptional students in Poland through the BAS Scholars program in 2010. Since then, we’ve consistently supported this initiative, with many of our scholars gaining acceptance into prestigious universities in the UK and abroad, including Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Warwick, and UCL.

The majority of our scholars have taken on leadership roles at Adcote, serving as Head Girl or as part of the prefect team. Alicja, our Head Girl for this year, has received her results today and shares her plans as she embarks on the next chapter of her journey.
“During Year 13 I received offers from University of Warwick, University of York and Loughborough University in the UK, two universities in Finland, two in the Netherlands and the University in my home city where I learnt everything I know about programming. I have finally decided to study computing science at the University of Groningen.
During summer I read and learned about my course. I looked at the starting requirements for each subject to make sure I’m sufficiently prepared. I also looked at the schedule to plan my next academic year accordingly. My university expects students to dedicate a lot of time to self-study and individual projects. I feel well prepared for that thanks to Adcote teaching us systematic learning. In the Netherlands exams are after the end of short blocks of a given subject, therefore I have to plan to revise and study consistently focusing on the current subjects.
In the Netherlands it’s also very often that accommodation comes without any furniture so I’m spending a lot of time shopping for bedding and pots. I’m very excited to have a new roommate and get to know the other students. I hope to find a community as vibrant, friendly and welcoming as I experienced at Adcote. “
