OUR Macmillan Coffee Afternoon last Friday managed to raise £312 in just 45 minutes; a testament to the hungry cake fiends we have here in school! (and that’s just the staff….)
Nicola Bignell, Head of Sixth Form, said: “Thank you to everyone who helped make this a success. From the donations, to the help setting up, to the purchase of a cakes, we very much appreciate your help.
“The Y13 worked throughout the event and made it very fun, with too many to name helping out selling the cakes. Thanks also to Nifemi leading a group to advertise out at the front, Suma on photograph patrol and Michelle selling raffle tickets. And the lovely musical stylings of Tiffany on Piano in the background.”
