Wear Dots….Raise Lots

Posted: 14th October 2016

DOTTY fever gripped Adcote lower school, as girls wore polka dot outfits to raise awareness of visual impairment and the impact of braille.

Our lower school prefects and Head Girl Katie Richards also organised competitions to raise £139.79 for the RNIB, including guess the number of sweets in the jar and a junior school bake off. Girls had to bring in £1 in order to wear dots.

Jackie Greenwood, Head of Lower School, said: “The girls organised everything themselves. They really embraced the event and came up with lots of good ideas. There was a lot of excitement in school today.”
