All of Lower School worked with a professional recording company for a whole day last week to produce a CD of a variety of pieces of music, showcasing the exceptionally high level of performance we achieve here in school, under the inspirational musical direction of Chris Bunn.
Glee Club, Youth Choir, Adcote Pops, String Ensemble and soloists were all recorded during the day.
Mr Bunn, Adcote’s Music Co-ordinator, said: “It was a really intense and exhilarating experience which gave the girls valuable experience of having to produce a quality performance for every take.
“The recording engineer said that the standard of music making was one of the highest he had recorded at a school! It was such a joy to hear the whole school singing together.”
The CDs are available to be ordered now. Order forms have been sent out, but they are also on the front desk. If we reach our target of 60 CDs sold then we will receive a full set of African Drums, so please do support us.
