Following the Race for Life event which was held in the Summer Term, a representative came in from Cancer Research UK to deliver a presentation to pupils in assembly thanking them for the amount raised and giving them an insight into the work Cancer Research UK does. Kimberly from Cancer Research UK, thanked pupils for their hard work in raising £2242.00 and showed how the money they raised will be used for vital research and treatments. Following the assembly, a cheque presentation was made. Once again, a huge thank you to everyone who kindly and generously supported this event and helped us to raise such a fantastic amount.
