National ISA Swimming Gala Selection

Poppy Livermore has been selected to swim in the Year 5 Freestyle relay in the National ISA Swimming Gala again this year. The event is held in the Olympic Aquatic Centre in London on Sunday 21st January.

Overall the team came 13th despite only entering a Year 5 and 6 team. In the Year 5 team the girls achieved 4th place. Popply Livermore came 2nd in the Freestyle race, but only missed out on first place by 0.10s (18.23s). She came 5th in the Backstroke with a time of 22.03s. Seren Blackwell achieved 13th place in the breaststroke (29.03s). Unfortunately the freestyle relay ended in disqualification.
 
In the Year 6 team the girls achieved 11th position. Camren Brooks came 7th in the breaststroke (24.43s) and 7th in the freestyle (18.76s). Rosie Stevens was 12th in the backstroke (25.56s) and 11th in Butterfly (25.45s). The relay team came 12th. Well done girls.
