Junior School Bake Off

Posted: 21st June 2016

The annual Adcote Junior School Bake Off competition was a delicious and delightful event that even Mary Berry would have been pleased to attend.

Eleven girls from across the Juniors submitted their entries, producing ‘A Cake Fit For The Queen’.  Lemon cakes jostled with raspberry and chocolate layer cakes to vie for first place. There were Union Jacks, Corgis, hats, and crowns galore.

Congratulations go to the overall winner, Beth Embray for her amazing Union Jack and tiara layered cake, which featured said Corgis, fresh fruit, cupcakes and flags. It was the veritable crowning glory of the competition.

Highly commended were Amy Cooke, Romilly Hayton and Aiofe Brennan.

The School is now looking forward to the Senior Bake-Off which coincides with Sports  Day on Friday 24th June.
