This year’s Adcote Shakespeare festival ended with a visit from Ellesmere Primary School who brought their year 6 pupils for a morning of drama as they performed scenes from some of the Bard’s most popular plays including Henry 5th and Macbeth. ‘We are grateful to the local teachers who brought over 200 boys and girls to the school in the past few weeks’ said drama teacher Mr Davies who organised the event. The festival included performances in the grounds of Shrewsbury Castle by year 7 pupils and some of our 6th form and a number of performances for family and friend of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in the school gardens.
