A SIXTH FORM ‘Speed Dating’ event proved very popular this week, as Year 11 girls found out more about the subjects they might like to study at A Level.
By rotating between sixth formers studying a wide variety of subjects, they were able to ask any questions about education here at Adcote post-16.
Girls wanted to know about course content, how much work is involved, choosing the right A Levels for universities and the difference between A Level subjects and GCSEs.
Year 11 student, Dani Allsop, said: “The Sixth Form were all really helpful, they answered all the questions that they could and they were very friendly. I found that asking some of the same questions gave me different points of view and opinions. All in all, it was very educating and gave me a better insight into what I want to do during my A Levels.”
