Last Monday the U16 Netball team travelled to Church Stretton to play in the County Schools Tournament.
They played four matches in their pool, winning three and losing one.
Unfortunately, three teams all lost one game each and we narrowly missed out on a place in the play-offs on a poorer goal difference.
Netball coach Kathy Gardner said: “It was a great team performance and their keenness showed when, on returning earlier to school than expected, they asked if they could have a training session. That is commitment!
“One thing that we did learn was that we need some taller players!!”
