YEAR 8s – North Shropshire County Tournament
On Wednesday this week, Year 8s netball team travelled to Marches School to compete in the North Shropshire Tournament, coming 3rd overall out of seven.
Player of the tournament was Hannah Peate for superb interceptions and taking on board everything she was asked to do.
Considering the girls had not even had a team practice yet because they are in the middle of a hockey term – this was a great result!
U14s – Shropshire County Tournament
On Tuesday the U14s played in a county tournament. Their performance got stronger throughout the tournament and the girls narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-final. Player of the tournament was Rebecca Walker for playing in any position that Mrs Gardner put her and displaying phenomenal interceptions.
