OUR Shakespeare outreach programme delivered workshops at Weston Lullingfields Primary School, near Baschurch this week.
Former professional actor Danny Davies delivered scenes from A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Macbeth, encouraging children of all ages to participate, dressing up in costumes provided by Adcote School.
Mr Davies said: “All the children took part, including the very little ones, who performed as fairies in costume. Our Year 10 Performing Arts students came with me to help. Our girls were brilliant. They helped the little ones dress up and perform. It was lovely to see them get down to their level, talking to them, holding their hands and helping them put their costumes on.”
