Our girls collected a clutch of awards at the John Beswick International Presentation Evening at Shirehall in Shrewsbury, organised by the Shropshire Schools’ Sports and Athletics Association.
The ‘flying sisters duo’ Katie Hayton (Year 9) and Romilly Hayton (Year 6) were both presented with International Awards for representing Great Britain in Equestrian Vaulting.
Adcote U11 and U9 Gymnastics Squad won the Derek Hayward Award for Primary School Sport, which marks them out as the best primary school sports team in Shropshire (Adcote also won it in 2016!). Romilly Hayton is one of the squad members.
