Whilst this has been a year like no other, we are delighted to say that all the hard work of our students has been reflected in the A Level results they collected this morning, indicating the phenomenal progress they have made in our Sixth Form.
A tremendous 61% of our grades were at A*/A with 80% of all grades awarded being at A*/B. An impressive 71% of our Sixth Formers have immediately accessed their first choice university, including hugely competitive courses at Oxford, Warwick, UCL, Birmingham, Cardiff and Liverpool.
There are many success stories but particular strengths this year have been our sciences where all grades in Physics and Chemistry were awarded at A*/A and in Biology, all but one B grade candidate achieved an A grade.
We are so proud of them all. They have risen with dignity and maturity to the challenges presented by the last few months and we could not be more pleased for them that their journey with us has ended so well. We wish them all the very best for the future.
