Adcote School Named Finalist for Outstanding Fundraising Achievement

Posted: 17th September 2025

We are proud to announce that Adcote School has been named a Finalist for Outstanding Fundraising Achievement at the Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2025.  This recognition highlights the incredible fundraising efforts of our students, staff, parents, and wider community, who work together to support a variety of national and local charities.

A Year of Fundraising at Adcote School

Fundraising is a vital part of school life at Adcote, and our community has once again shown amazing generosity. Over the past year, our students and staff have organised and taken part in a wide range of charity events and fundraising activities, including:

  • Race for Life – raising vital funds for cancer research.

  • Macmillan Coffee Morning – supporting people living with cancer.

  • Children in Need – helping disadvantaged young people across the UK.

  • Christmas Jumper Day – spreading festive cheer while raising money for Save the Children.

These events are just a snapshot of the dedication, teamwork, and compassion shown by everyone involved. Each occasion has brought our community closer together while making a meaningful impact on important causes.

Recognising Our School Community

Being shortlisted as a finalist for this national award is about more than just money we’ve raised. It is a celebration of the Adcote School values – Confidence, Leadership, Engagement, Achievement and Resilience (CLEAR) – which guide our students both inside and outside the classroom.

Through fundraising, our pupils develop confidence, leadership skills, and resilience while learning the importance of giving back. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and grateful to our staff, parents, and wider community for their ongoing support.

Looking Ahead

At Adcote, we believe that education extends beyond academics. Taking part in charitable activities helps our students to grow into compassionate, responsible, and community-minded young people.

It’s an honour to be recognised at the Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2025, and we’re looking forward to continuing our commitment to fundraising and making a difference in the years ahead.
